Jeffrey W. Dodson is Managing Director for Hunt Real Estate Capital. Mr. Dodson is responsible for overseeing Hunt Real Estate Capital’s servicing and asset management functions. In addition, he is coordinating process and technology improvements for the firm. Mr. Dodson has more than 19 years of experience within commercial real estate servicing and portfolio management. Mr. Dodson is a member of the executive management team and is based in Dallas, TX.
Prior to joining Hunt Real Estate Capital, Mr.Dodson was Executive Managing Director of Servicing and Technology for ACRE Capital. There he was responsible for leading the servicing and technology initiatives for the Company’s CMBS, Balance Sheet, Fannie Mae, FHA and Freddie Mac portfolios. Mr. Dodson was instrumental in the relocation of the platform from Southfield, MI to Plano, TX. He also led the efforts for the firm being credited with receiving an S&P Primary Servicer rating of “Above Average.” Mr. Dodson served as the Fannie Mae Chief Asset Manager and Freddie Mac Chief Servicing officer for the firm.
Prior to ACRE Capital, Mr. Dodson worked at Prudential Asset Resources for seven years. Mr. Dodson’s most recent role was Director of Asset Management, where he was responsible for the CMBS and General Account Asset Management Teams. Before that, he formed and directed the Credit Surveillance Team supporting credit analysis and collateral management of a diverse commercial mortgage portfolio, consisting of CMBS, balance sheet, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA whole loans, participations and on-book investments where Prudential acted as primary servicer and master servicer.
Before joining Prudential, Mr.Dodson spent eight years at Midland Loan Services where he held various roles in servicing and asset management. In several roles, he was the business subject matter expert for the Enterprise! application. Some of Mr.Dodson’s more recent roles included client implementation and development across various industry segments.
Mr. Dodson received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and his Master of Science degree in Management from the Baker University.
