Megan Goodfellow is Chief Credit Officer for Commercial Real Estate at Hunt Real Estate Capital. She has spent more than 30 years working in various aspects of commercial real estate. Most recently she was Chief Credit Officer for RealtyMogul.com where she was a member of the executive and investment committees and oversaw underwriting, closing and asset management for debt, sub-debt and equity investments originated by the RealtyMogul.com platform. Prior to that, she spent eight years with Hunt Real Estate Capital’s predecessor firm, Centerline Capital Group, which she joined in 2007. At Centerline she served as the Credit Officer for various high-yield debt and equity funds and structured investment vehicles. There Mrs. Goodfellow was also a member of the Credit Committee for CMBS B-Piece and the High-yield Debt Investment Committees, and also participated in the restructuring and special servicing of a $2.5 billion multifamily bond portfolio.
Prior to Centerline, Mrs. Goodfellow was at JP Morgan Chase where she was the credit officer and head of underwriting for the Bank’s CMBS division. At JP Morgan Chase, she oversaw five regional offices and 30 underwriters who were responsible for underwriting and closing both conduit and balance sheet loans. During her eight years at JP Morgan Chase, she oversaw the underwriting and closing of more than 2,500 loans totaling $31 billion.
Before that, Mrs. Goodfellow held senior positions at American General (an AIG company) and Fidelity Investments. At American General, she was a Senior Investment Manager and co-head of the Asset Management Division responsible for monitoring and addressing challenging issues within the $4 billion mortgage portfolio and $1 billion real estate equity investment portfolio. At Fidelity Investments, she was the Manager of Real Estate Development and Investments and oversaw the development and investment in commercial real estate assets throughout the U.K. and United States for Fidelity’s own account.
Mrs. Goodfellow earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, with a minor in Business Administration, from St. Bonaventure University. She is a member of the CFA Institute and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
