Rick Warren is a senior managing director, head of small balance production at ORIX Real Estate Capital (OREC), the combined company of Hunt Real Estate Capital, RED Capital Group and Lancaster Pollard.
Mr. Warren is responsible for oversight of all small balance financing activities for commercial real estate and multifamily housing. He joined Hunt in 2009 to develop and launch a small loan lending practice. Under his leadership, the unit experienced remarkable growth on a national basis and was ranked a top Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac small loan lender.
Prior to joining Hunt, he was senior vice president and head of production for Indymac Commercial Capital Corporation in Irvine, California, where he grew its national lending platform to $1 billion in annual production within two years. Before Indymac, he was managing director of Everbank in Jacksonville, Florida, where he launched their national commercial lending platform.
He began his commercial real estate finance career with Bank of America, where he spent 12 years in various management roles for both real estate and business banking before leaving to become president at BNC National Bank in Tempe, Arizona.
