Xavier Salinas is a Vice President in Hunt Real Estate Capital’s New York office. He coordinates the origination process by working with different functional areas of the business to execute debt placements. Beyond commercial real estate loan origination, he is also experienced in underwriting, and capital markets.
Mr. Salinas started his career at Hunt as an analyst during which he evaluated over 700 investments with an aggregate value in excess of $9.5 billion. He was part of a team that transacted on deals totaling over $1.5 billion. He has exposure to various asset classes, including Multifamily, Affordable Housing, Student Housing, MHC, Office, Self-Storage, Retail, and Industrial. He is also well versed in a range of debt and investment solutions, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and Balance Sheet Lending.
Mr. Salinas earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
